Woody’s Golf is rated #5 in the U.S. He [Woody] heard about one of our events and contacted Rebecca to share his Golf range for the soldiers from Walter Reed and their families for a day.

A few supporting friends brought their WWII vehicles, and Rebecca brought her 47 Ford Tudor street rod to the event for them to enjoy. JJ Deli catered the lunch and the bbq was enjoyed by all! Jeff Johnson (Vietnam Veteran) and his wife who owns JJ Deli supplied this lunch. Woody and his daughter supplied drinks and various desserts for all to enjoy. Unfortunately, the day was cut short because of a thunderstorm, but those who attended were able to enjoy all that the range had to offer. For those who haven’t visited this awesome putt putt course, it is a must see, for it is animated, and once inside you see nothing but a jungle like atmosphere!

Salute The Veterans, Inc. and the soldiers who attended that day, would like to thank you all for this fun day, and all that you gave to make it special. Hope to see you in the fall!
